Join us for the largest amateur radio event in North America! Field Day is a 24-hour emergency preparedness exercise and on-air operating event open to all ham radio operators and the public. This year since we are operating from a park we will also be activating US-1800 with all contacts.
We will be making live on air radio contacts. We will be activating POTA park US-1800 throughout the weekend. We will be demonstrating emergency communications demonstrations. We will be using various portable antenna setups. We will have an educational demonstration on Saturday. We will also provide licensing information and will have many Elmer’s onsite to answer questions.
This year we will be operating from Beech Fork State Park Campground at sites 260 and 261.
